Fire alarms... and cute firemen

 (today's incident)
So either flat 33 has bad luck, a faulty fire alarm, or are a bunch of pyromaniacs because today was take two of setting off the alarms. Last time I was straightening Arielle's hair when we accidentally set them off, this time, no explainable reason. The management lady cast us another crusty look and the firemen filed into the building while the rest of us stood in the drizzly rain. According to the woman in charge, it was the alarm in the corridor that went off, though there is no way it could be set off unless a ghost is hanging around out there with a lighter in his hand and has a thing against Americans. So who knows what will happen this time or (fingers crossed) the next, now that flat 33's alarms have gone off again. Third time's the charm.
(This is from the first fire alarm incident)

Grilled Cheese, called "grilled toast" by our Scottish friends was the culprit. But once again, the fire alarm brought us together and we were able to meet more residences of the building. Also, the firemen gave us a tourism tip ( going to the Isle of Sky) in addition to a mild scolding about propping our kitchen door open with a brick.
